Uncover or rebuild your strength in a nurturing environment set on challenging you to be the most successful version of yourself! It would be a pleasure to work with you on your path to healing and ultimately down the path of success.
My approach is holistic with a sense of compassion, empathy and non-judgment. I excel at supporting individuals increasing awareness with their mind, body, and emotional experiences.
I work best with adults or young adults looking to learn skills through a mindfulness lens to manage distress, regulate emotions, and build relationships with others. I enjoy working with individuals invested in improving their overall wellbeing and to problem-solve concerns as a united therapeutic alliance, as well as shifting my approach to meet each individual’s needs or particular strengths.
I have a history of working with a wide variety of individuals with different backgrounds and conditions including LGBTQ+, medically complex/HIV+, trauma/PTSD, history of substance use issues, difficult family dynamics, depression, anxiety, mood disorders, body image/self-esteem issues and self-injury. I have worked directly with individuals of various ages, couples, groups, and families for about a decade throughout many levels of care and positions in the mental health field.
I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker and received my certification in DBT. I graduated from Rutgers University with my MSW in 2019. I offer in-person and telehealth sessions with flexible hours. In some of my free time, I enjoy continuing my education into therapeutic technics through trainings and certifications in order to provide the best quality care in my practice.
I truly believe we are all capable of change and evolution even when life can feel unbearable. I would love the opportunity to walk with you on this journey toward progress.
At the end of the day we can only…
“Start where you are. Use what you have. Do what you can.”
