Dina Ditzel BS. Masters Level Counselor Intern

Hi, I’m Dina Ditzel, a Master’s level intern currently pursuing my degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling at Liberty University. Under supervision, I am working toward becoming a Licensed Professional Counselor.
My approach to counseling is person-centered and rooted in the belief that healing happens when we treat the whole person—mind, body, and spirit. I often integrate mindfulness-based practices into sessions and draw from cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT) as well as other evidence-based approaches. As I continue to grow in my training, I remain open and curious, blending creativity and flexibility into my work.
I enjoy working with clients from all walks of life and have a special interest in supporting children, individuals facing anxiety and depression, and those impacted by trauma or addiction. As a creative person, I often explore how art and self-expression can enhance the therapeutic process.
My goal is to create a safe, compassionate space where clients feel heard, understood, and empowered on their journey toward healing and self-discovery.
