As a Licensed Associate Counselor, I enjoy working with adolescents and adults. I specialize in treating those facing personal obstacles such as transitional periods, anxiety, executive functioning, stress management, women’s issues, work/life balance, and self-esteem. While following a generally humanistic approach, my primary method of treatment focuses on client-centered counseling. I also tie in key components from a mindfulness-based approach. As a counselor, I appreciate taking the time to recognize the uniqueness of each person and encourage different types of client-centered modalities depending on one’s personality and specific needs. My practice is rooted in compassion and creating a safe, genuine environment to empower clients toward their personal goals and overall growth.

I earned my Bachelor’s degree in Psychology and a minor in Business Marketing from Rutgers University. I continued my education at Stockton University and earned my Master’s in Professional Counseling. I have experience working within the outpatient setting through Telehealth and in-person practices. My experience includes working with adults, families, and adolescents with co-occurring mental health and substance use disorder as well as leading groups focused on executive functioning skills and self-esteem building. My continuing goal as a clinician is to become well-versed and expand my skills as I develop from an associate therapist to a fully licensed clinician.
