    Stephanie Nelson LSW.

I am a compassionate and client-centered therapist with experience working across the lifespan, with specialized experience supporting children, teens, and adolescents through emotional, behavioral, and life challenges. I am CATP-trained and have worked in trauma-focused and crisis intervention settings, helping clients navigate anxiety, depression, trauma, self-esteem concerns, emotional regulation difficulties, family conflict, grief, and major life transitions.

My approach is warm, supportive, and individualized. I believe therapy should feel like a safe, nonjudgmental space where clients can be themselves while building the tools and insight needed for meaningful growth and healing. I draw from evidence-based approaches tailored to each client’s unique needs and goals, while focusing on building a strong therapeutic relationship grounded in trust and collaboration.

While much of my background includes working with youth and families, I also enjoy working with adults from diverse backgrounds and experiences. I understand that reaching out for support can feel overwhelming, and I strive to create an environment where clients feel heard, respected, and empowered throughout the therapeutic process.
